Description :

SPEDIFEN 400 mg is a medication containing ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that effectively relieves pain, fever, and inflammation. It is used in particular for headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and flu-like symptoms.

Indications:

• Mild to moderate pain (headaches, muscle pain, toothache, painful periods)

• Feverish states

• Pain of inflammatory origin

Dosage:

• Adults and children over 30 kg (approximately 11–12 years) : 1 tablet of 400 mg, to be repeated if necessary after 6 to 8 hours.

• Do not exceed 3 tablets (1200 mg) per day without medical advice.

• Best taken during a meal to limit digestive problems.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or to any of the excipients

• Evolving peptic ulcer, history of digestive hemorrhage

• Severe liver, kidney or heart failure

• Pregnancy (from the 6th month)

Precautions for use:

• Do not combine with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without medical advice.

• In case of prolonged treatment, medical supervision is recommended.

• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration

Possible side effects:

• Digestive disorders (nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea)

• Allergic skin reactions (hives, rash)

• Rarely: ulcers, digestive hemorrhages, severe skin reactions
