Description :

SPEDIFEN 400 mg comes in the form of granules to be dissolved in a glass of water. It contains ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts against pain, inflammation, and fever. This medication is a convenient alternative to tablets, especially for people who have difficulty swallowing.

Indications:

Short-term treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever:

• Headaches

• Toothache

• Painful periods

• Muscle or joint pain

• Flu symptoms

Dosage:

• Adults and children from 30 kg (approximately 11 years) :
  1 sachet (400 mg) to be repeated if necessary after 6 to 8 hours.
  Do not exceed 3 sachets (1200 mg) per day without medical advice.

• Dissolve the granules in a large glass of water, preferably taken during a meal.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the ingredients

• Active gastrointestinal ulcer or bleeding

• History of asthma triggered by taking NSAIDs

• Severe heart, liver or kidney failure

• Pregnancy from the 6th month

Precautions for use:

• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration

• Avoid combination with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants

• Seek medical advice in case of long-term treatment or chronic illness
