Description :
Nurofen 400 mg is an ibuprofen-based medication, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to effectively relieve moderate pain, reduce fever, and treat inflammation. It works quickly on pain such as headaches, muscle aches, or painful periods.
Indications:
Short-term treatment of pain and fever:

Muscle or joint pain

Dosage:

Adults and adolescents from 40 kg (approximately 12 years) :
1 400 mg tablet per dose, to be repeated if necessary after 6 to 8 hours.
Do not exceed 3 tablets (1200 mg) per 24 hours. -
To be taken orally, with a large glass of water, preferably during a meal to limit digestive problems.
Contraindications:

Allergy to ibuprofen or another NSAID

Evolving gastric or duodenal ulcer

History of digestive bleeding

Severe liver, kidney or heart failure

Pregnancy from the 6th month

Children under 40 kg
Precautions for use:

Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.

Avoid combination with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants

Consult a doctor if you have a specific medical history (asthma, digestive disorders, hypertension, etc.)
