Short-term treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

✅ Indications:

• Reduction of heartburn , acid reflux and reflux

• Effectively relieves the symptoms of gastric hyperacidity

• Intended for adults (18 years and over) for short-term treatment (up to 14 days)

🧬 Mode of action:

• Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI)

• It works by decreasing the production of acid in the stomach

• Improvement of symptoms after 1 to 2 days of treatment

💡 Dosage:

• 1 tablet per day to be taken with a glass of water, in the morning before meals

• Do not chew or crush the tablet

• Treatment limited to 14 days without medical advice

• If symptoms persist beyond this time, consult a healthcare professional.

⚠️ Precautions:

• Do not use if known allergy to esomeprazole or another PPI

• Do not use if taking antiretrovirals or other drugs that alter gastric pH.

• Consult a doctor if you have unexplained weight loss, difficulty swallowing, vomiting, or black stools.

• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice
