Description :

Advilcaps 400 mg is a medication based on ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) known for its analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. Thanks to its fast-absorbing soft capsule form, Advilcaps works faster than conventional tablets for effective relief of acute pain and fever.

Indications:

Advilcaps is indicated for the short-term treatment of:

• Headaches

• Toothache

• Painful periods

• Muscle or joint pain

• Flu symptoms

• Feverish states

Dosage:

• Adults and adolescents (from 30 kg / approximately 11 years) :
  1 capsule of 400 mg per dose, to be repeated if necessary after 6 to 8 hours.
  Do not exceed 3 capsules (1200 mg) per 24 hours.

• To be taken orally, with a large glass of water, preferably during meals to limit digestive problems.

Contraindications:

• Allergy to ibuprofen or any of the ingredients

• History of asthma or allergy after taking an NSAID

• Active or recurring peptic ulcer, digestive hemorrhage

• Severe liver, kidney or heart failure

• Pregnancy (from the 6th month)

Precautions for use:

• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest period of time

• Do not combine with other NSAIDs, including aspirin

• Seek advice in case of chronic illness, anticoagulant or antihypertensive treatment
